The Ping G5 irons have a deep undercut cavity design that positions the center of gravity away from the face for straighter, mid-to-high ball flight. The wider soles of them help get the ball airborne while the large Custom Tuning Port stabilizes the face and dampens vibration to ensure a solid feel. The Ping G5 irons made the 2006 Golf Digest Hot List.
